VE day celebrations

The ladies had a very successful socially distanced VE Day tea party on the lawn. The sun shone. There were beautiful cakes made by Elaine, the Warden, and some of the residents. Everyone brought their own cup of tea along. It was lovely for everyone to spend some time in the beautiful shared gardens, where there was plenty of space for all to enjoy the festivities safely.

The proceeds raised from the day, including a monies raised from a few donated plants and herbs, were put towards the volunteer gardening scheme to cover costs of gardening gloves and gardening equipment.
